Adding your phone number in your ad

There are a few options for adding a contact details to your ads:

• Include contact phone number(s) in your ad description.
• Select the options for “Non Logged In Visitors” this is for people without an account, your contact information is available to everyone.
  • Internal Messenger – not available – people without can’t use the messenger system.
  • Phone Number – will add a button for people to click to reveal your verified phone number.
  • WhatsApp – will add a button for people to click to start a conversation on WhatsApp.
• Select the options for “Logged In Users” this is for people with an account and are logged in.
  • Internal Messenger : receive messages to your dogs.ie inbox. You will get an email alert about new messages.
  • Phone Number : will add a button for people logged in to click to reveal your verified phone number.
  • WhatsApp: will add a button for people logged in to click to start a conversation on WhatsApp.

Tip: Ads with phone numbers in them get the most engagement.

Editing your your ad

The last field of your ad can control how people will contact you. You can change contact options over the course of the ad. To edit your ad, when you visit your ad page when logged in you will see, click Edit Ad to edit.

What a potential buyer sees

On the righthand side of your ad, your contact options will appear. Potential buyers will need to click the “Show Phone Number” to view your number and clicking it again will call you directly. Your phone number is not visible until the buyer clicks on the button.
